Oakdale Mathematics department is very successful. We set challenging targets with high expectations for all pupils. Pupils are entered for GCSE Mathematics in year 10. Additional numeracy lessons are provided for pupils who do not achieve their full potential at Key stage 2.
We have a computer suite dedicated to the teaching of Mathematics. Most classrooms have an interactive whiteboard. Pupils and parents are provided with free internet a

This is an excellent site which provides interesting and stimulating opportunities for interactive learning and assessment from level 3 at KS3 to A* at GCSE.
