The History Department has 3 members of staff Mrs C.Thomas, Mrs E.Clark, and Mrs Jones.
History is taught using a variety of methods and resources, such as videos, text books, group work, drama etc. Pupils are encouraged to actively become engaged in their own learning.
Key Stage 3 covers The Middle Ages, The Tudors and Stuarts, The Industrial Revolution, The First World War and aspects of the 20th Century.
Key Stage 4, G.C.S.E & Entry Level courses are offered.
The History Department has organized many varied trips in the past including battlefield tours to Belgium and France. A year 10 & 11 trip is currently being arranged to Berlin
