We are a very active and interesting department to work in with new developments and ideas from both staff and pupils. As in many other schools, the use of Multi Media, including projectors and White Boards, throughout the department boosts the interest and aids the teaching of pupils.
At Oakdale School we teach key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 I.C.T. (G.C.S.E.) as well as Entry Level I.C.T. The I.C.T. Department was totally refurbished in 2003 and updated in 2005.
All I.C.T. Rooms contain high specification computer equipment; the network has also been upgraded to include the new CC3 Research Machines network based on Windows XP which is used throughout the school.
