Year 7 pupils study an integrated Science course, which builds upon the
skills developed in their Primary schools.
Pupils' achievements are monitored during this year and using this information pupils are placed into ability groups, for Year 8 and 9 during which time they are taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics by subject specialist teachers.
The work is delivered at a level which allows all pupils to gain access to the curriculum, and achieve their potential.
In Year 10, pupils have the option to study either Double Award or Single Award Science. This choice, of course, caters for all abilities and future careers. We believe in giving all pupils a stimulating experience through the study of Science with us.
