Pengam Primary School

Pengam Primary prides itself on being a very warm and welcoming school, with an excellent school-home relationship. 

Our Mission Statement is:

Literally translated it means First Step should be the Best Step.  We aim to set the best foundation on which a child can build as they progress through their school years.

Class Sizes

We have 8 classes in the school from Nursery to Year 6.  We have approx 200 pupils on roll, which means that our class sizes are below average in size.

Special Educational Needs

We believe that all children should have the same opportunities irrelevant of whether they have Special Educational Needs.  We currently have 46 pupil on the Special Educational Register.
